Standard "Plus" Advanced Open Water Class - SSI
Although SSI is similar to PADI advanced open water training however, there are several differences. With the SSI advanced training you must have a minimum of 24 logged dives and be able to show the recorded dives. Rather then 5 chapters in one manual like PADI you will be given a choice of 4 specialty courses to choose from. Each specialty will require 2 check out dives. For each SSI specialty you choose you will receive a manual, DVD or video and a continuing education folder. If you would like we can issue you a certification card for each specialty or one certification card as an advanced open water diver. Each certification card is an additional $12.00, to be added to the course upon completion. Up to eight check out dives will be required for your certification, you will need 24 logged before you start this course.
With this course you will receive in addition to the standard package for SSI advanced open water. A 3-day and 2-night stay in Ft Lauderdale and three boat trips. Each boat trip will consist of two dives at two locations, for a total of 6 boat dives. Two dives Saturday 8AM, two 6PM dives ( twilight and night ) and two dives Sunday 8AM. This course also includes at least two local beach or lake dives. For a grand total of 8 dives.
The student will be responsible for all equipment needed to complete the training and any air fills needed.
